KK is the owner and heart behind this charming bakery and coffee shop in St. James, Missouri, which opened in April 2026.
Her entrepreneurial journey began in June 2023 when, at just 16 years old, she
launched her business from a food truck. Within six months, her passion and
determination led her into a storefront in Steelville, Missouri. Today, she oversees every aspect of the business—from creating the menu and baking each day to managing operations and leading her team.
Baking has been a lifelong passion for KK. She began baking alongside her Nana at just 3 years old, and by age 7, she was helping in her families restaurant, Nana's 12 in Cuba, Missouri, until it closed in 2020.
Those early experiences inspired a love for baking that continues to shape every recipe she creates. Known for her attention to detail, KK is a true perfectionist. She spends countless hours perfecting each dessert before sharing it with her customers, ensuring every treat meets her high standards for quality and flavor.
For the past two years, KK has also baked for Sybill's Restaurant. That partnership helped pave the way for opening her bakery and coffee shop adjacent to the restaurant in St. James.
Looking ahead, KK has big dreams of expanding the bakery side of her business, where her passion truly shines. With an incredible work ethic, a commitment to learning, and a love for creating new recipes, she is excited to continue serving her community with handcrafted baked goods and exceptional coffee for years to come.
